For those who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S4, you will be delighted to know that it does not disappoint. As far as connectivity, this Verizon cell phone has lots of options. It is 4G LTE compatible and supports NFC and S Beam, which makes it easy to send photos and videos to friends. The phone is capable of being used as a mobile hot spot if you're on a data plan that allows it. You can even use the Kies app to connect your phone to your home computer through your Wi-Fi connection.

These things are all great, but where the Galaxy S4 really shines is in its variety of pre-installed apps from Samsung. For example, there's the Story Album app, which lets you use photos and text to make story-like albums. It connects with photo book service Blurb to let you purchase a printed copy of your stories.

The Galaxy S3 introduced us to Smart Stay, an optional feature that could sense when your eyes were on the screen and would keep the screen from dimming. Their new phone has taken this innovative feature and added on to it with Smart Scroll and Smart Pause. Smart Scroll lets you scroll up or down while looking at the phone by simply tilting the screen. This is extremely helpful for anyone who frequently reads blogs on their phone while multitasking, as you now only need one hand to do so. Smart Pause uses the Smart Stay technology to pause a video when you look away from the screen and restart when you look back at it.

The Watch On app lets you turn your phone into a remote for your TV, Blu-ray player, home theater, or DVR, as well as make it simply a universal remote. Once it's set up, you can watch Netflix videos on your TV, view live TV listings, or program your DVR all from your phone. It even offers you recommendations based on previous viewing habits.
